This egg bake I make for Christmas morning. The best part about it is that you can make it the night before, and the next morning, you just slide it in the oven and voila! Egg bakes are great when you have a loaf aof bread that you have not finished during the week. Don't ever waste that bread, either make an egg bake or throw it in your food processor and make some home made bread crumbs. You will never have to buy breadcrumbs again! I actually never heard the term "Egg Bake" untill I moved to Minnesota. When I lived there, I learned how egg bakes are a staple in households. Most likely because they are easy and they feed a lot of people.

Sautee sausage onion and garlic. Whisk together eggs and cream. Combine this with the bread, cheese, mustard and cooled sausage mixture. Bake covered for 45 minutes in a 375 degree oven. You can put this in the refrigerator over night and throw in the oven in the morning.
