PASTA WITH SAUSAGE AND CREAM

Try this recipe when you are crunched for time. By the time your pasta is cooked, you sauce will be ready.
I like to use penne pasta, but any kind of pasta would work.

INGREDIENTS
I lb. sausage casings removed
1 onion cut thinly
1 clove garlic chopped
1/2 tsp. chili flakes
1 can chopped tomatoes with juice
3/3 cup whipping cream
1 lb. pasta

DIRECTIONS
Brown sausage in a non stick pan. At the same time that you are cooking the sausage, start water to boil. Cook pasta as called for on box. Add onions and garlic to the sausage when the sausage is cooked through but not yet browned and cook until caramelized. Add tomato's, cream and chili flakes. salt and pepper to taste.
